Pool Safety Inspections by QBPR

backyad swimming poolIn Queensland we love the outdoors and the family pool is a staple of our fair state, providing hours of enjoyment for young and old alike.

Tragically backyard pools are also the leading cause of deaths for children 1 - 4 years old. This doesn't need to be the case as taking the correct pool safety precautions can assure that your pool remains a safe place for family fun and enjoyment.

To help ensure swimming pools are safe in Queensland for all our little tackers, the Queensland Government has introduced a new set of codes for pool safety which means if you are a home owner, your pool must meet the Queensland pool safety laws. Have one of our qualified and licensed pool inspectors come out and conduct a mandatory Queensland pool safety inspection.

Pool Inspections

Please note that we do not actually inspect your pool - you will need to hire a pool expert to check for any pool-related issues including the chlorinator, the pool pump, filters and so forth.

We often get asked about finding water leaks and cracks in the pool however this is also something a specialist must look into for you (usually a diver will have to inject a special dye in the pool in an effort to track water flow). QBPR will inspect for any safety issues and comment on these as a duty of care to you.

To make sure your pool passes a safety inspection first go, read our pre-pool safety inspection guide on what you can do before an inspector arrives and avoid failing the inspection. View our gallery from past pool inspections to see some of the most common areas requiring attention.

We provide pool inspections in Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. Call us on 1300 337 447 or fill out the form to the right to book an inspection or to discuss any problem areas you may have.
